Biography:
From the Manchester School of Art to the Manchester Regional College of Art (now Manchester Metropolitan University) through twenty years in publishing as creative director for the Cheshire Life magazine group (The Whitethorn Press) to eventually, in 1986 creating Artbox, my design and illustration studio.
Initially concentrating on a design portfolio with some illustration, I adjusted the emphasis of my work in 1996 with a series of paintings of Romiley. I paint mainly in watercolour and oil though pencil or pastel are required for some commissions.
In July 2006 I started a series of oil paintings of Manchester. The first two paintings have been sold and I am now in the process of finishing my third painting (flower sellers in Piccadilly) and will soon have an image
on my page.
Artist's Location: Stockport, Cheshire.
