Biography:
Graduated in 1984 with a First Class Hons Degree in Fine Art. She has exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery London, and twice at the Royal Academy.
The Victoria and Albert Museum National Art Library purchased the artist's book of etchings and linocuts for its collection in 1991. An exhibition of the work was sponsored by English Heritage in 1992. Jackie has exhibited widely in group exhibitions in both the U.K and U.S.A.
She has been featured in Cheshire Life Magazine, the Manchester evening News and has been interviewed on Pure radio.
Jackie has won six prizes for her paintings at the Williamson Museum and Art Gallery Merseyside.
Her painting of Stockport Viaduct is in the permanent collection of Stockport Art Gallery and has been used for the Howard Town Brewery Viaduct Beer bottle labels. Jackie has had many commissions most recently by Wetherspoons for a pub in Preston. She has had solo exhibitions at Stockport Art Gallery, Buxton Museum and Salisbury Art centre She has exhibited at the Manchester United Stadium Gallery.
Currently exhibiting at The Signature Gallery Kendal, Jo Bennett Fine Art, Dee Fine Arts Heswall,Seagrass Gallery West Kirby. The Williamson Museum Merseyside Jackie was a judge for the Stockport open exhibition 2018.She is on the Stockport Art Gallery selection panel for exhibitions at the gallery. A trained teacher and musician her studio is in Stockport and she is a teacher at Aquinas college. You can also see Jackie on You tube.
